The Seal Partner Program is offered in four program types: Solution Partners, Opportunity Teaming Partners, Strategic Alliance Partners and Audit & Compliance Partners.
Seal Partner Types
Seal maintains select partnerships with closely aligned companies that maintain industry-sector or horizontal application expertise.
- Solution Partners offer the certifications, methods and best practices to independently market, resell and support Seal solutions into industry sectors within their industry-domain-expertise and business geography.
- Referral Partners are typically boutique or Global Systems Integrators, Business Process Outsourcers, or similar firms that pursue joint opportunities on an account-by-account basis to align and support each other to address specific opportunity needs with mutual clients and prospects.
- Strategic Alliances represent a targeted set of alliance partners that share common customers with Seal Software through the integration of products or complimentary services that expand the ready-to-go solution model that Seal strives to offer to our clients. Seal also support its "white label" OEM partners under this category.
- Audit and Compliance Partners typically look to utilize Seal within a service engagement. This type of partner is responsible for company audits and potential discovery and compliance services.
Solution Partner Requirements
- Minimum one authorized Sales Specialists for Seal products.
- Minimum one Pre-sales Engineer with experience and expertise on the ECM or Search technologies information operating system.
- Minimum one consultant with ECM, Search and optionally JAVA skills.

Seal Software Partner Education Program
This comprehensive program is modular and intended to begin with all participants from the partner organization in module one and two, then pull back to a smaller set of technical participants as the program progresses through the complete 5 modules. NFR Software is provided at module 3 and implementation of your first cDiscovery solution is comprehensive to the program.
1. Seal-Demo
Audience: Sales Staff and Technical Consultants.
Duration: 2 hours.
Format: Online demo.
Instructors: Seal Sales and Marketing.
Review the functional requirements checklist for the sandbox request form. Self-paced webinar demo recordings to make sure they can speak to and provide a simple demonstration of each functional group from the check-list using Seal's turnkey demo systems.
2. Contracts Discovery Business Class
Audience: Sales staff and Technical Consultants.
Duration: ½ day.
Format: Online presentation and test.
Instructors: Seal Sales and Marketing.
- Learn to demo, system configuration, reporting and other product information.
- 25 questions multiple-choice test on:
- General positioning of Seal for three pillars of audit/discovery, Search and migration / Integration of data.
- The basics of Seal dynamic lookups, metadata and other fundamentals that get people speaking a common language.
- The sales qualification process as we have in salesforce.com and analysis tools that are used to narrow down business qualification requirements into Seal functional requirements. This leads to a proposed solution that can be demonstrated and proposed.
This class ends up with a guided tour of the price calculator with a couple of scenarios to price out and submit for grading.
3. Seal Technical Training
Audience: Technical Consultants.
Duration: 1 day Format: Classroom training.
Instructors: Seal Professional Services.
- Product architecture, sizing requirements, minimum environment specifications.
- Metadata extraction and Basic Rule creation. Loading & indexing, searching/advanced searching, review queue and reporting.
- CSV metadata import and data processing.
- Integration and web services.
4. Advanced Technical Training and Build Workshop
Audience: Technical Consultants.
Duration: ½ day.
Format: Classroom training.
Instructors: Seal Professional Services.
- Advanced rule creation and metadata extraction.
- A hands-on graduation class in which students build a system for the internal use of their company (lab, production, demo sandbox, any purpose) aided and graded by Seal's PS instructor.
5. Field Implementation
Audience: Technical Staff.
Duration: Depending on customer project size.
Location: Onsite at customer.
Support: Seal Professional Services Partners become authorized as "Seal-Preferred-Partner" Status in this three-phase mentoring stage:
- First project assisting Seal Professional Services.
- Second project assisted by Seal Professional Services onsite or remotely.
- Third project delivery independent of Seal Professional Services.
