Paul Sallaberry


Paul Sallaberry is a software industry veteran with a career leading Enterprise-class worldwide sales, marketing, and services organizations. Throughout his career, Paul Sallaberry has held a number of Senior Executive roles in both the sales and operations divisions of major international corporations.

Paul was a Member of the Board of Directors for Quest Software, an information technology, and systems management company that recently became a part of Dell. He provided strategic guidance to Quest as it developed, manufactured, and supported software used in a variety of industries. In addition, he serves on the Board of Directors of Acquia, a commercial open-source software company that concentrates on products and services for Drupal. Sallaberry also sits on the Board of Advisors for PureStorage, Liquid Robotics, and Calypso Software. Aside from his work as a board member, Paul Sallaberry holds a spot on the University of California, Davis Graduate School of Management Dean’s Advisory Council and the Board of Trustees of the UC Davis Foundation. He is also a Trustee of Sacred Heart Schools and a Venture Partner at Jafco Ventures.

Before taking up his current duties, Paul Sallaberry spent eleven years with Veritas Software, now Symantec, as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations. Earlier in his career, Sallaberry worked with software companies such as Oracle, Applied Data Research, and Dorado Software. He holds a degree from the University of California, Davis.


Vincent Smith

Founder of Toba Capital

Vincent is the founder of Toba Capital and formerly Chairman/CEO of Quest Software. Vincent is Toba Capital’s sole limited partner, a firm he started in 2013. He began his career working for Oracle working in a variety of sales and sales management positions. From 1998 to 2012 he was responsible for leading the strategic direction of Quest Software and served as CEO/Chairman. Under his leadership, Quest became a leading enterprise systems management company. When Smith joined Quest, they had just 25 employees. At the end of 2012 the company had more than 4,000 employees worldwide and $1B in revenue.


Mike Chalfen


Over the past 16 years as a technology investor, Mike has served on 15 boards and made around 35 investments for Apax Partners, Advent Venture Partners, and in a personal capacity. His investments are mainly in enterprise software and internet services and have included The Foundry (acquired by Carlyle), SuSe Linux (acquired by Novell), Fizzback (acquired by NICE Systems), Ubiquisys, Moogsoft, Illumio,, (acquired by Naspers), and


Clark Golestani


Clark Golestani brings over 30 years of experience in technology and life sciences and is currently the President of Emerging Businesses and Global CIO at Merck. Clark is responsible for Merck’s portfolio of services and solutions companies, as well as its global health innovation venture fund – each of which extensively leverages opportunities across the digital health ecosystem. Clark also serves on the board of directors for UMUC Ventures; a not-for-profit organization focused on advancing adult education. Previously, he has served on the board of directors of Liaison Technologies as well as Intel’s Enterprise Advisory Board, Carnegie Mellon University’s CyLab / Sustainable Computing Consortium Board of Governors and the PhRMA Foundation Informatics Advisory Committee. He holds a degree in management science from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.


M. Brinkley Morse

Co-Founder of Toba

M. Brinkley Morse worked for 30 years in the enterprise systems software industry in senior executive capacities at BMC Software, Inc. and Quest Software, Inc., including as General Counsel, Chief Financial Officer and head of corporate development. After Dell, Inc. acquired Quest in 2012, Mr. Morse assisted Vincent Smith in the launching of Toba Capital Management, LLC., where he is a partner. Mr. Morse is a board member of Toba portfolio companies WSO2, Inc., Seal Software Group Limited, Sauce Labs, Inc. and Infocyte, Inc.


Michael Sheridan

Chief Financial Officer at DocuSign

Currently, Michael is Chief Financial Officer at DocuSign, Michael’s experience includes distinguished and respected roles as CFO at Mimosa Systems, IGN Entertainment, Facebook, Playlist Inc., and SonicWALL. Before joining DocuSign, he spent more than four years as CFO at FireEye. Early in his career, he worked as a financial executive at Genesys Telecommunications and NetApp.


Ulf Zetterberg

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Ulf co-founded Seal Software in 2010 and drives the company’s overall strategy and execution. He brings over 25 years of enterprise software and services experience in both corporate and entrepreneurial environments. As a serial entrepreneur, Ulf is passionate about innovation and growth and is driven by and committed to a strong customer-first culture. Prior to Seal, Ulf held senior executive positions at companies like OpenText, Legato, EMC, Kazeon and Proact. Ulf studied Economics at Stockholm University.


Laurie Brasner


Laurie Maroun Brasner is General Counsel of Seal Software. As General Counsel, Laurie is responsible for managing and overseeing all of Seal’s legal matters. Prior to becoming GC, Laurie was a Senior Director of Legal Services at Seal. Before joining Seal, Laurie was the lead contract management knowledge specialist with a multinational consulting group where she assisted clients in developing and implementing contract management solutions. She also served as in-house counsel to both DIRECTV Latin America, LLC and Société Générale, New York and was a corporate associate with Shearman & Sterling and Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft. Laurie received her JD from Boston University School of Law and completed her undergraduate work at Barnard College of Columbia University.
