The race is on as companies compete to survive in an ever-evolving digital era. As we continue to see the struggle of legacy giants in recent news, it is evident that only those who keep up will thrive. Consumers of all sorts, are online more than ever and companies must adapt by optimizing key business practices, defining new revenue opportunities and more proactively engaging their customers.

Despite continual coverage of the risks for those who do not digitally transform, the urgency of this shift has not manifested for many. According to a recent SAP study, 84% of companies regard digital transformation as crucial, yet just 3% have actually finished any company-wide effort.[1] There is little doubt, if you want to remain competitive and engage a progressive future, digital transformation is not merely a choice, it is a necessity.  So, the challenge is how to speed the actual implementation of effective digital transformation.

Digital Transformation

Digital Transformation is defined as, “the application of digital capabilities to processes, products, and assets to improve efficiency, enhance customer value, manage risk, and uncover new monetization opportunities.” In the latest report on the state of digital transformation (MIT Sloan Management Review and Deloitte), when asked to agree or disagree with the following statement, “My organization scales successful initiatives to drive digital transformation across the organization,” only 8% of industry executives surveyed strongly agreed.

How Seal is Leading the Charge in Digital Transformation

  1. Innovation: The Seal executives have a clear vision for the role of AI-powered content analysis in the process of Digital Transformation. They are driving innovation from the top and measure success by positive customer outcomes. At Seal we – the staff – are constantly evaluating what works, building collaboration across teams and customers, eliminating silos and promoting agile thinking to bring the Seal vision to life. Seal begins with the end in mind by investing in employees, new business processes and cutting-edge technology.
  2. Demystify & Educate: Seal understands that AI is new, and a potentially daunting emerging technology and we are seeking ways to communicate that AI enabled digital transformation can be as simple as asking a question. We are engaging in dialog and education at every touch point. For example, Seal hosts a free in-person training session for customers on a regular basis. This pressure-free engagement helps clients and helps us keep a pulse on our customer base, to learn and become better for current and future customers.
  3. Technology that Delivers Positive Results: The recent release our newest version (V6), is a groundbreaker – it lays the foundation for analyzing a much broader range of enterprise content. By keeping enterprise readiness and customer outcomes top of mind, we continue to lead the way in embedding content analysis in the digital transformation process.

Digital transformation does not look the same for every company. Whether you’re a start-up or an established organization, digital transformation is a process. Seal’s Customer Success team can assist you as you formulate your own transformation plan, helping you choose the projects that will drive your own agility and competitive advancements.
