Seal was thrilled to host two customer success events in Europe at the beginning of April where we were joined by customers and prospects at the Prince Philip House in London and the Ehemaliges Hauptzollamt in Hamburg.
During both events, valued customers including Airbus, Arm, and Rolls-Royce shared their user experiences and explained why Seal is their contract discovery and analytics platform of choice. All of the customer speakers highlighted the importance of extracting and reporting on contract data and how they are benefiting from Seal by gaining actionable insights from their contracts. Of the many case studies presented, procurement was a universal theme throughout.
Analyzing contracts on the buy-side of procurement has always been a popular use case of the Seal platform. Procurement functions across multiple industries – including financial services, hi-tech, and healthcare – are leveraging Seal’s AI-powered technology to have data-driven conversations and increase vendor visibility. Our comprehensive analytics capabilities are equally effective at addressing the challenges of many other use cases, including M&A, compliance and audit, and legal.
In addition to customer accounts, the agenda for both events combined strategic solution overviews with real-world examples and hands-on demonstrations to ensure that both Seal ‘veterans’ and novice users could benefit from the program.
At our London event, hosted by CMO, David Gingell, our Customer Success team presented an overview of Seal for Procurement and shared solution best practices. As the day carried on, attendees heard presentations from Amy Reed, Legal Engineer at Arm and Sarah Walter, former Product Portfolio Cost Executive for Rolls-Royce Civil Aerospace. The Seal for Procurement Briefing was wrapped up with a comprehensive session on Seal’s vision and product roadmap, delivered by Mark Rollins, VP of Product Management.
In Hamburg, Mihály Gündisch, General Manager DACH at Seal, had the pleasure of introducing Susanne Vorberg, Digital Transformation – Procurement of Airbus. Not only a customer but a 2018 Seal Insight speaker, Susanne shed light on how to leverage AI for procurement contract visibility and how Seal is assisting Airbus with procurement transformation. Felix Rackwitz, Managing Director of TPR Legal, also took the stage and explained why they selected Seal as the basis for their contract analysis business and how they plan to expand their offering by developing and licensing custom German-language solutions. With this new partnership, TPR will use Seal to provide contract analysis to its clients, assisting in a variety of transactions ranging from strategic sourcing to complex mergers and acquisitions.
Following the speaker sessions, attendees also took part in a hackathon led by Seal’s Chief Strategy Officer, Jim Wagner. The hackathon added yet another interactive component to the agenda and introduced participants to the power and versatility of the latest version of our Seal Cloud Services (SCS) platform. This activity further demonstrated the scalability and speed of Seal’s AI technology and left attendees with practical application of the potential cost and time savings that the platform offers.
