Seal Software, the leading provider of Contract Discovery and Analytics, today announced the continued expansion of its worldwide operations with a new office in Egypt, as well as bolstering its team in Sweden. Seizing on the company’s accelerating momentum in signing global Fortune 1000 clients, including the recently announced deal with Parker Hannifin, Seal is dedicating more resources and expertise to both its research and development and field sales operations.
Building on its efforts to research, develop, and deliver leading-edge machine learning technologies, Seal is opening a Center of Excellence (CoE) based in Cairo, Egypt. The CoE will be led by Mohammed El Reedy, a highly experienced manager of R&D centers. Prior to his appointment by Seal, El Reedy spent the past eight years running the EMC/Documentum CoE, also based in Cairo.
Seal’s CoE has already hired more than a dozen dedicated engineers and developers, with plans to add additional functions over time. The Cairo-based CoE team will work closely with Seal’s existing Gothenburg, Sweden-based development team, providing an even deeper bench of distinguished engineering resources for the market-leading contract analytics platform and its impressive roster of customers.
As part of its momentum efforts, the field operations team is expanding into Sweden, with a dedicated sales force established to serve the Nordic markets. Håkan Axtelius has been appointed Nordic General Manager after successful sales leadership roles at Github, Cygate, and EMC. Axtelius will be based in Stockholm.
“I am delighted to announce these new offices and proud of our team’s accomplishments,” said Ulf Zetterberg, co-founder and CEO, Seal Software, “Our significant growth provides us with the opportunity to accelerate investments in new markets as well as strengthen our engineering and development resources, which will allow us to remain in the vanguard of machine learning and content analytics.”
Kevin Gidney, co-founder and CTO of Seal Software also commented, “With the addition of the Cairo-based CoE, Seal now has more dedicated developers and engineering resources working on content analytics than any other company in this space, and clients can rest assured that we will remain at the forefront of breakthrough solutions and offerings that will help them transform their businesses.”
Earlier this year Seal also announced that it has opened a business development center in Dublin, Ohio, creating local jobs and centralizing the company’s US-based business development resources.
