Recognition Marks Year of Milestones Including Record Revenue, Launch of Seal Now for Contract Pre-Execution Analytics, Release of Seal 7, Key Partnerships with DocuSign and Ariba
SAN FRANCISCO—November 7, 2019—Seal Software, the global leader in enterprise contract analytics, has once again been selected for Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and energy tech companies in North America now in its 25th year. This is the fourth consecutive year in which the company has joined the roster of standout firms, and highlights a year of record revenue and growth for the company. Seal was named the 72nd fastest-growing tech company in the San Francisco Bay Area, and 388 overall with 241 percent year-over-year growth.
“Once again, Deloitte’s recognition speaks to the vision we share with our customers and the innovation we bring to their business,” said John O’Melia, CEO at Seal Software. “Our global team is relentless in pursuit of bringing greater value to our customers through contract analytics, arming decision-makers with the data and tools they need to make an immediate and lasting impact on their organizations. We see this honor is validation of our work and testament to our technology.”
Seal Software broke new ground last month with the introduction of Seal Now which is specifically designed to address the review and negotiation of draft contracts prepared on another party’s templates—the most complex, risky and time-consuming aspect of the contracting process. With the introduction of Seal Now, Seal becomes the first and only enterprise contract analytics platform capable of delivering valuable AI insights in both the pre-execution and post-execution phases of the contract lifecycle. Customers who have been using Seal for their signed agreements can now get insights into their agreements during the negotiation phase, utilizing the AI capabilities they have enjoyed previously.
Other key milestones have included a $15 million investment from DocuSign Inc., expanding a strategic partnership between the two companies that began early last year in which Seal solutions are offered as a pre-integrated extension of the DocuSign Agreement Cloud and a resell agreement of Seal technology by DocuSign, and the availability of Seal’s Contract Analytics AI application extension for SAP® Ariba® in the SAP® App Center.
The year also saw the roll-out of Seal 7 which immediately set a new competitive benchmark, pairing a simplified user interface with an unprecedented collection of enterprise-class AI capabilities for a state-of-the-art user experience reflective of the mental models of different users ranging from highly technical to novice.
“This year marks the 25th anniversary of Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500, so we are especially pleased to announce and congratulate the 2019 winners,” said Sandra Shirai, vice chairman, Deloitte LLP, and U.S. technology, media and telecommunications leader. “Once again, we saw innovation across the board, with software companies continuing their dominance of the top ten. It’s always inspiring to see how the Fast 500 companies are transforming business and the world we live and work in.”
“As technology innovation trends towards ‘everything as a service,’ it’s no surprise that software companies dominate the winners list yet again this year,” said Mohana Dissanayake, partner, Deloitte & Touche LLP, and industry leader for technology, media and telecommunications, within Deloitte’s audit and assurance practice. “What’s exciting about celebrating 25 years of the Tech Fast 500 is we now have a quarter-century of innovation stories to draw and reflect upon. These are the companies that push boundaries, help organizations become more efficient and productive, and ultimately enable businesses to drive growth and revenue. We congratulate all the well-deserving winners.”
